Job Description:

Wave Hill Breads is seeking farmer market sales people to be brand ambassadors for our handmade artisan breads and pastries. This position will average 8-10 hours per market per day. Markets are based throughout Fairfield, NYC and Westchester County.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements:

-Flexible during the week days, Saturdays are a must.

-Excellent people and communication skills, a friendly manner.

-Your own insured vehicle

-Good with basic math

-Able to lift 40 lbs., able to stand for 4-5 hours.

-Reliable and organized

-Knowledge of safe food handling procedures is a plus

-Previous sales experience a big plus

-Speak English

Non-negotiable: Valid driver's license and ability to use personal vehicle.

Available days: We have availablility every day, Saturdays are a requirement.

Compensation: $15-18/hour (depending on credential and references) and a percentage bonus!

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, latte, latte art, espresso drinks and smoothies

- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately

- Assist in food preparation and maintain a clean work environment

- Provide friendly and efficient customer service while upholding company standards

- Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing

- Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision

Experience:

- Previous experience in barista or the food industry is preferred

- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling

- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to help customers with menu choices

- Knowledge of food preparation techniques
